Phil Arlinghaus was raised in East Tennessee; Blountville and then in Seymour. Being adopted at birth deeply impacted his views on Life.
Upon graduating from Seymour High School, Phil attended East Tennessee State University in Johnson City. It was there that he met and fell in love with his future wife, Hannah Elisabeth Fisher of Hancock County.
After Phil and Hannah married, they moved to Seymour where Phil graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science from Johnson University, formerly Johnson Bible College. He also holds an Associate’s of Applied Science in Cybersecurity from Montgomery College, Montgomery County Maryland. Currently, he is pursuing a Master’s of Divinity from Global Awakening Theological Seminary.
When he was young, he heard and watched about the news that President Clinton was being impeached. This was an important moment in his life which propelled his desire to understand what that meant and how our government works.
Falling in love with history and politics, he studied and read all that he could. He discovered and started listening to Conservative Talk Radio. The hosts of these radio programs helped refine his views and he began to explore radio broadcasting as a vehicle to further his political and religious aspirations.
Phil has been active in many different clubs and organizations. He is a member of the Republican Party, the TEA Party, the National Rifle Association (NRA), Gun Owners of America, Tennessee Firearms Association, and the Association of the United States Army (AUSA). He is a strong supporter of Pro-Life groups, 2nd Amendment groups, and Religious Freedom groups. Having many family and friends in the Military and Police Forces, he firmly supports the Military, Veterans, Law Enforcement, and other First Responders.
Phil has had leading roles in starting a few different businesses with others. In addition, he has helped plant two churches, active in several others and has been involved in para-church ministries.
Most recently, he has been in management for a nonprofit thrift store that supports a homeless shelter and programs to re-enter the job market.
The most important aspect of his life is his relationship with the Lord. Serving God influences everything in his life. He does not make any decisions without prayer, reading the Scriptures, and godly counsel.
While attending ETSU, his love for the Lord led him to become active in Cru, (formerly Campus Crusade for Christ), have leadership roles, felt a call to ministry, and started to attend Graham Bible College in Bristol.
Phil and Hannah have one beautiful daughter, Lorelai Ann. They love the Great Smoky Mountain area and proudly call East Tennessee their home!
Both Phil and Hannah love serving, whether it is their church or their community.
He enjoys reading, golfing, watching movies, filmmaking, listening to talk radio, and spending time with family and friends. He is a huge Tennessee Vols fan, a Denver Broncos fan, and loves yelling at the TV about the referees.
No challenge is too great for those who are in the Lord. God Bless You.
God Bless Tennessee! God Bless America!
